Nairobi to Masai Mara

Early morning pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive to Masai Mara. A 5-hour drive to the main gate. You will pass through Narok town, a famous farming Masai town. You will arrive at Masai Mara around lunchtime. Check-in at Drunken Elephant Mara. Later in the afternoon (around 3.00 Pm), proceed for an afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo, and other members of the Big five plus other animals.

In the evening, return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

All-Day Pass in The Masai Mara

Early breakfast and an all-day game drive inside the vast Masai Mara National Park. You'll see lots of wildlife and scenic views, such as the Mara River and its Nile crocodiles, the hippo pool playing host to gigantic hippos, and more. Around lunchtime, your driver guide will seek the perfect spot for a picnic lunch- which should be fun! You'll resume your game drive till evening, returning to camp for refreshment and relaxing, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Drunken Elephant Mara.

Optional activity if in a group: Sundowner on the Hills with canapes for 40 USD per person (requires a Minimum of 4 Pax to run). While at the camp, you may also inquire about this service and pay directly if there is a quorum.

Transfer from Masai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to the majestic Mara. On the way, you'll have a chance to spot the animals one last time.

On the 4-5 hours drive back to Nairobi, you'll make stops for the bathroom, lunch (out-of-pocket), and stretch about. ETA in Nairobi is around 2.00pm, leaving ample time for the airport check-in procedures (if outbound) or just checking into your Nairobi stay for an afternoon siesta.
