Start of Tour
We will reach the banks of an absolute oasis in the Kalahari basin. Here, we will meet our community guides who are real experts in poling the traditional dugout canoes. They will take us deep into the heart of the world’s largest inland delta, the Okavango Delta.
This place has amazing numbers of elephants, red lechwes, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, birds, plants, reptiles, and insects. Poling through the meandering channels of the Okavango is a breathtaking experience. Just sit back and relax as the water gurgles gently under the mokoro while your experienced poler points out the flora and fauna. Activities on the islands include guided nature walks and mokoro excursions.
