On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met with a warm welcome by our company representative, get cleared by the customs, exchange some money in local currency, drive to the hotel for some good rest. Day 2
Kigali city and transfer to Musanze + Undertake the Golden Monkey trek

Our driver will pick you up from the Kigali hotel on this day then start your trip with a transfer to Musanze. Check out very early (4:30am) with your packed breakfast. On this special day you will have the rare opportunity to observe the famous Rwandan Golden monkeys through the forested slopes of the Virunga is a magical experience. You will get to the golden monkeys, spend a full hour with them, and be back at the base in time for lunch at the lodge. Check in and have your full relaxation the rest of the day as you enjoy property amenities. Evening at leisure.

Day 3
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park – Uganda – Visiting the Batwa Pygmies
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park – Uganda – Visiting the Batwa Pygmies
After your early breakfast, you will embark on the 3-4 hrs journey to Bwindi side via Cyanika border. Upon arrival get assisted with check in and lunch at the lodge. In the late afternoon head out for a visit to the Batwa pygmy community. The Batwa were the original inhabitants of the Bwindi impenetrable forest but were driven away from the park to allow for mountain gorilla conservation. While with them, you learn about the difficulties they face adapting to a new world. The Batwa will entertain you with songs, dance and storytelling. Return to the lodge, leisure time.

Day 4
Gorilla trekking in Uganda – Transfer back to Rwanda -Kigali - Departure

Wake up very early and take breakfast. After breakfast, head to the park for briefing on gorilla trekking. The briefing takes place at 7:00am and is conducted by the head park guide or chief Ranger. It is compulsory to attend the briefing because to helps you prepare well and have all the relevant information you need during your time with the gorillas After the briefing, you will go into the forest to track the primates. Gorilla trekking is challenging and involves hiking deep into the forest where you will pass through thick bushy shrubs, hills, valleys and muddy ground. The final reward is watching the gorillas for one hour in the wild. After your one hour observing the gorillas is done, you should head back to the starting point to meet your guide. The Guide will take you back to lodge for lunch. Relax a bit then check out, drive back with the beautiful country sides heading to Kigali. Arrival in Kigali city with a transfer to the Kigali International Airport.
