Day 1

Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

We'll pick you up early morning from Nairobi and transfer you by road to the scenic Lake Naivasha. En route, a stopover at the Rift Valley is always picturesque, affording sweeping views of the floor of the Rift Valley, Mount Longonot & Lake Naivasha.

We'll drive to the scenic Hell's Gate National Park. Besides the scenic drive, you can engage in bike riding activities or take a guided walk around the beautiful park, where you can see the occasional animals as they graze. The area is known for its geothermal wells that have been tapped to produce green energy. The adjacent Olkaria Geothermal Spa is the ideal self-treat after a hot afternoon- it features naturally heated fresh water at just the right temperature.

Around lunch time, check-in at Naivasha Kongoni Lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon touring Lake Naivasha by boat, and sampling the rich aquatic life here.

Return to the lodge for relaxing in the evening, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast and check-out, what better way to explore the fresh-water lake than by boat: tens of endemic and migratory bird species call this place home? Visiting Crescent Island will give more insights into Lake Naivasha's beautiful yet delicate ecosystem. Later, around 10.30, depart westwards for Lake Nakuru National Park. Ziwa Bush Lodge, an eco-boutique lodge, will be your home for the night.

Arrive and have early lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, and then followed by an afternoon game drive inside the fenced-off Lake Nakuru National Park. You can easily spot the endangered black rhinos as they graze around, not far off the vehicle trails. The lake occasionally gets a pinkish mirage as thousands of flamingoes descend to breed and forage for food. This is the only Kenyan game park where you will likely encounter tree-climbing lions!

Towards dusk, exit the park and drive to Ziwa Bush Lodge for check-in and relaxation, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Escapes in the Masai Mara

Escapes in the Masai Mara

On this day, your day begins early so you can make the most of the Masai Mara Escapes! After an early breakfast at around 6.30 am, you'll embark on a full-day game drive, where our experienced guides will ensure you see as much game as the day's terrain allows. Grazers are readily abundant, but some carnivores in the cat family, such as leopards and cheetahs, are pretty timid, prefer solitude, and will take skill and coordination with other teams on the ground to spot.
At lunchtime, you are in for a treat of picnic lunch on the African wild way!
The Mara is a rich ecosystem, and by evening, you'll have seen so much flora and fauna and received insightful lectures on the various species you encounter.
In the evening, you'll return to camp at around 5.00 pm for refreshment and relaxation- the cooling effect of the pool beckons after a long day in the sun.

Dinner and overnight stay at PrideInn Mara Camp.
