Hoedspruit to Mala Mala Private Game Reserve

Departing from Hoedspruit, your journey leads us to the southern part of the Kruger National Park. After exiting the airport we take the +-3 hour journey until we arrive at Mala Mala Camp in the Mala Mala Game Reserve

On arrival at the camp in the reserve, guests are introduced to their ranger, who acts as host, guide, and educator.

The itinerary for the next two days is merely suggested to take advantage of the more comfortable temperature ranges and the enhanced game-viewing opportunities. It is also important to take time to relax and enjoy the camp surroundings, and to immerse oneself in the environment.

An afternoon/evening game drive awaits you after having a bit of a relaxing time at the lodge.

Mala Mala Private Game Reserve

After your wake-up call by your ranger, meet on the safari deck as the sun rises over the bushveld for a quick hot and cold beverage and a light snack after which we'll head out on our early morning game drive.

After spotting some wildlife return to the camp where a hearty brunch awaits you. You can also join a bush walk after brunch if you feel like it.

In the afternoon, we'll meet again on the safari deck for hot and cold beverages and a light snack before departing on another unforgettable safari. A cooler box with the veritable sundowners is carried on the Land Rover, and a consensus among your fellow safari sites will determine whether a G & T is worth more than a leopard sighting!

As darkness approaches, your ranger will scan the bush and point out elusive nocturnal wildlife—a highlight of the day’s safari.

Upon returning to camp, we allow time to freshen up before meeting your friends and rangers for pre-dinner drinks in the safari bar after which dinner will be served.

Mala Mala Private Game Reserve and Return Journey Back to Johannesburg

After another early morning safari, heading out in a different direction in search of these animals - we slowly head back to camp for a substantial breakfast. After breakfast we'll slowly check out and depart the Greater Kruger National Park area on our way back to Hoedspruit in time for your onward journey. Please allow around 3 hours time for this transfer as the distance is not too far but traveling time through the reserve and nbordering villages take a bit of time.

The tour will end in the late afternoon upon arrival at the lodge/airport in Hoedspruit.
