Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be met on arrival at JKIA Airport or your hotel by a representative from Mzingo Wild Adventures, who will introduce you to your professional driver-guide. After a short briefing, you will depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, widely regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing destinations. This iconic reserve is renowned for the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration, where thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles cross from Tanzania’s Serengeti into the Maasai Mara in search of greener pastures.

You will arrive at your camp in time for lunch at Saruni Basecamp Mara, where you can relax and enjoy the serene wilderness atmosphere. In the afternoon, set out for an exciting game drive across the vast savannah plains, soaking in golden landscapes and searching for Africa’s most iconic wildlife in their natural habitat.

Return to camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the wild under the African night sky.

Option 2: Morning & Afternoon Game Drive Schedule

Start with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active, then return to camp for breakfast. Spend midday relaxing and enjoying lunch at the camp before heading out again for an afternoon game drive in the golden light. This balanced schedule offers excellent opportunities to see diverse wildlife behaviors before returning to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Begin your day with an optional sunrise hot-air balloon safari (at an extra cost), offering breathtaking aerial views of the savannah, followed by a champagne-style breakfast in the bush. Later, continue with a full-day game drive before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

Enjoy breakfast and then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a renowned wildlife haven in the Great Rift Valley.

Lake Nakuru is famous for its stunning scenery, rich biodiversity, and excellent game viewing. The park features a beautiful soda lake surrounded by wooded and bushy grasslands, attracting large flocks of flamingos and other water birds, as well as over 450 bird species. It is also home to more than 56 mammal species, including endangered white and black rhinos, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and occasional predators like lions and leopards.

You will arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, followed by some rest.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy a game drive exploring the park’s highlights and wildlife-rich areas. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Lake Nakuru National Park - Nairobi

Breakfast is served at the lodge, followed by a scenic drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your hotel, marking the end of your safari experience.
