We will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your 2 hours to Seronera in Central Serengeti. You will be greeted by an enormous smile from one of our experienced guides. After a brief orientation, lunch and beverages, you will embark on an exploration of the Serengeti, the land of the great migration.
Late afternoon, you'll start heading to your accommodation for the hotel amenities, dinner and overnight stay.
We are flexible to upgrade your accommodation.

After breakfast, following the Great Migration is the main bucket list item. Hot lunch in the afternoon.
It's when over two million wildebeests, zebras and gazelles move through the Serengeti, TZ and Masai Mara, KE ecosystems in search of rain and green pasture, in a regular pattern.
Dec – Mar: Southern Serengeti i.e., Ndutu for calving season when about 8,000 daily new-borns are birthed and become easy hunting meal for predators.
April - May: Long rains, so grass is green across Serengeti, the wildebeests are more dispersed and no migration pattern.
June - Facing their first obstacle on their new journey; the Grumeti River crossing in Western Serengeti.
July – Oct: This is the peak season in Northern Serengeti i.e., Kogatende, where thousands cross the Mara River daily making it a hunting ground for alligators.
Nov - The herds disperse from the North to Central & South Serengeti for the Calving season.

Serengeti and Return To Zanzibar

Wake up very early to catch the sunrise game drive where the sun kisses the golden savannah plains of Serengeti. At this time, you also have best the chances of seeing the predators hunting.
Return to your hotel for breakfast and packing ready for your transit game drive towards the Seronera Airstrip to catch your return flight.
We can customize for you to fly to another location apart from Zanzibar.
We can book for you a balloon safari with our partner companies instead of the sunrise game drive at an additional charge.
