At 10:00 a.m., you’ll be collected from your Victoria Falls hotel and transferred to Kasane, the gateway to Chobe National Park. At the border, a Botswana guide will meet you and assist with all formalities. You’ll then continue to Chobe Safari Lodge for check-in. The afternoon is at leisure until your three-hour game drive, where you’ll set out to explore Chobe’s abundant wildlife.

You will start the day with a morning game drive at 5:30 a.m. The early departure increases the chances of spotting big cats while they are still active and hunting. The game drive lasts about three hours, giving you the opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, antelopes, buffalos, impalas, and more. Tea will be served during the activity, and afterward you’ll return to the lodge for breakfast.
Later, you will be driven to Elephant Sands Lodge, located approximately 260 km from Kasane. As its name suggests, the lodge is set in a natural environment where elephants roam freely. Upon arrival, you will check in and enjoy some time to settle in. In the afternoon, you will embark on another game drive—either within the private concession or in the nearby park—depending on the guide’s recommendation.
