Tarangire National Park

Depart Arusha at 08:00 am heading to Tarangire National Park. It takes only 2 hours (120km) drive to reach the national park entrance.

You will have about 10 minutes for the washroom at the entrance while your guide completes legal formalities at the park authority offices before the morning & afternoon game drive (lunch included).

Animals expected to be seen here are zebra, cheetah, giraffe, lions, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, kori bustard heavy flying bird, antelope species, and many elephants. Apart from a wildlife game drive in Tarangire, you can also do a hot air balloon safari, which is optional at $600 per person.

Early evening after game drive you will exit the park heading to the lodge for dinner & overnight.

Serengeti National Park

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will depart Tarangire in the morning and begin your journey to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. As you make your way to the park, you will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and have the opportunity to take in stunning views of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Upon arrival at the Serengeti's gate, you will enjoy a delicious lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. This will give you the chance to spot some of the park's magnificent wildlife before sunset, followed by dinner at the campsite.

Follow the great wildebeest Migration

Today you will head out early for your morning game drive for a chance to witness a magnificent African sunrise in the bush. Head out after a cup of coffee and experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses.

Later you will head back to camp for breakfast and some relaxing. In the afternoon you will head out once more for another chance to explore the plains in search of the African wildlife you have come to see as you exit the park and make your way to your accommodation in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Ngorongoro crater

Once you've had breakfast, you'll depart from the Campsite, bringing a picnic lunch with you, and make your way down into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater. As you explore this area of remarkable diversity, you'll be surrounded by towering walls that encircle the reserve.

The Ngorongoro Crater is home to all of Africa's big five, as well as a wide range of other wildlife, including hundreds of bird species. You'll have the opportunity to spend a full day in the crater, taking in all of its wonders.
