Day 1

After breakfast, you will check out and head to the airport for a flight to Arusha and embark on a journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation area towards Central Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you will stop to enjoy a picnic lunch. The Serengeti is known for its incredible wildlife and stunning landscapes, particularly during the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras from July to October.

You will witness territorial conquests and mating rituals, as these animals navigate crocodile-infested waters in search of grazing land. In the evening, you will arrive at Seronera Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will check out and embark on a drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a morning tour with a picnic lunch to enjoy on the way. You will descend to the crater floor for a full day of exploring. With up to 20,000 different mammals living in the area, including about 20 black rhinoceros, the crater is the best place in Tanzania to see these amazing creatures.

You will also witness one of the highest carnivore densities in the world on the crater floor. Your game drive will conclude in the evening as you ascend back to the crater rim. Afterwards, you will drive to Fig Tree Lodge where you will check-in, have dinner, and spend the night.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will depart from the lodge and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater. As you descend the steep track, you will have a final opportunity to spot the diverse range of animals and birds that call this caldera (a collapsed volcano) home. With over 25,000 mammals and more than 500 species of birds, including the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffalos, rhinos and leopards), you will be treated to a breathtaking wildlife experience.

A picnic lunch will be provided inside the crater, allowing you to soak up the stunning surroundings. In the afternoon, you will ascend back up the crater rim and then continue your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. You will spend the night at the Tourist Inn Hotel and have dinner there.

Day 4

Today, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Materuni Village, where you will embark on a short but challenging hike to Materuni Falls. Here, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the waterfalls.

After a waterfalls tour, you will make your way to a nearby coffee farm, where you can learn how coffee is grown, harvested and processed. You will have the opportunity to try roasting and preparing your fresh cup of coffee! Enjoy your delicious drink before making your way to a nearby hot spring.

The warm water and beautiful scenery make this hot spring one of the best places to swim at Materuni Falls. After swimming, you will be driven back to the airport. This is the end of your safari.
