Day 1

Your driver will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel at 7.00 am for the 4-5 hours road trip to Maasai Mara. Make a scheduled stop at the Rift Valley Viewpoint for a lecture on the formation of features in the Great Rift Valley floor below.
Cross the Rift Valley Floor and drive via the Loita Plains arriving in Masai Mara at 1.00 pm. Check into the Tipilikwani Mara for lunch. Maasai Mara is famous for its wide open spaces, offering a natural theatre for viewing wildlife. T
The park is home to over 3 million animals and the highest concentration of big cats. This abundance of wildlife, coupled with large open savannahs provides a unique opportunity to see all the Big Five in a day.
The annual wildebeest migration, which happens between July and October further, adds immense value to the Maasai Mara.
After lunch enjoy a brief siesta. At 3.30 pm, you will go for your first game drive until dusk. Look out for the Big Five and d the magical sunsets. Dinner and overnight at Tipilikwani.

Day 2

All-Day Pass at the Masai Mara National Reserve

All-Day Pass at the Masai Mara National Reserve

Wake up to a cup of coffee and bitings at 6.00 am.
Depart for your early game drive at 6:30 am inside the Mara. This morning's game drive has the best chances to see a Lion kill, Leopard ambush as the animals look for their breakfast.
Due to the wet grass, most predators avoid the savanna grass and may be found walking on the game drive tracks. This makes it easy to view them at close range just next to your vehicle.
Return to lodge at 8.30 am to have a proper buffet breakfast. Relax in the lodge with lunch at 1300hrs.
Evening game drive at 1600hrs until dusk. Look out for the elusive black Rhino, Leopard, and wild dogs.
Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Rise up for early breakfast at 0600hrs, and exit at the park at 700 am with en route game drive.
Drive to L. Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch at L. Nakuru Lodge, then an afternoon game drive till evening. Be on the lookout for lions, buffalos, rhinos, leopards, striped hyenas, and klipspringer, among others. L. Nakuru also has the largest forest area under the euphorbia species of euphorbia candelabrum in Africa.
Lake Nakuru is world famous for its huge bird population. At the peak of the flamingo season, more than 2 million lesser and greater flamingoes can be seen there.
Lake Nakuru National Park is home to over 450 bird species and was originally protected as a bird sanctuary. Since then, the park is a sanctuary for birds, including black & white rhinos, and the endangered Rothschild giraffe.

Day 4

Distance: 70km
Time: 1 hr. 30 minutes
Arise to the African sun glittering on the waters of L. Nakuru to enjoy breakfast at 0600hrs and depart for a morning game drive at 0630hrs. Drive around the lake looking out for elusive animals. Exit Nakuru at 0730hrs for L. Naivasha.
Arrive at L. Naivasha and check in at L. Naivasha Sopa Resort at 0900hrs. Look out for the fish eagle as its swoops into the lake to catch fish or when swinging its head back & forth.
Depart for a boat ride to the hippo pool en route to Crescent Island. On arrival on Crescent Island start a 1-hour walk among giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles.
Look out for a giant African rock python basking lazily in the morning sun. Complete the walk and return to the boat to transfer back to the resort
Enjoy a buffet lunch at Sopa lodge overlooking the well-manicured green gardens on the lakefront.
Relax at the lodge in the afternoon with the option of swimming in the pool. Dinner and overnight at Sopa Naivasha Resort.

(Hells Gate NP hike/ walk 0700hrs-0900hrs.) An optional activity for adventure lovers in the deep gorges of the Park. This park’s landscape inspired the award-winning movie "The Lion King" and the set for Angelina Jolie's Tomb Raiders-The Cradle of Life.
Depart Naivasha at 1000hrs for Amboseli via Nairobi. Have an early lunch at a local Nairobi eatery as you meet and greet your safari hosts. Continue with the drive after lunch passing through the expansive Athi/Kapiti plains. Arrive at 1530hrs and proceed straight for an afternoon game drive, before driving out of the park at around 6.00 PM for check-in at the Kibo Safari Camp, located just near the Kimana Gate
Amboseli NP is the second most popular park in Kenya. The swamps are fed with millions of gallons of water from underground rivers emanating from the melted ice caps of Kilimanjaro, creating lush vegetation which feeds the grazers in the park.

Discovering The Amboseli National Park

Distance: 50km
Time: 6-7hrs
Arise to the fresh Kilimanjaro air and birds chirping. The views of peak Kibo are clearest at dawn from any of the Amboseli lodges. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast from 0630hrs up to 0730hrs. Depart with packed lunch for a full-day game drive in the park at 0800hrs.
Your game drive will navigate around the marsh areas, watching the hundreds of elephants. Look out for a half immersed elephants feeding on water grass or the hundreds of hippos yawning in the water.
The lions and cheetahs can be seen taking cover in the tree shade on the plains. Animals to see here include lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, etc.
Enjoy your packed lunch on top of the Observation Hill while taking in a panoramic view of the whole park with Mt. Kilimanjaro in the backdrop.
In the afternoon, you will visit a Masai Village (Manyatta) to experience their traditional way of life, and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Leisurely breakfast at 0730hrs: checkout from the lodge and depart for Nairobi at 0800hrs with an en route game drive in the park. You will visit a Masai Village and sample their unique African cultural ways, including ancient fire lighting techniques.
Arrive in Nairobi at 1330hrs and enjoy lunch at the Emmara Ole Sereni, overlooking the Nairobi National Park.
Optional (not cincluded in this safari's costing) afternoon excursions at Karen Blixen Museum, The Giraffe Center, The Bomas of Kenya, and the Nairobi Safari Walk.
Later, your driver guide will drop off at your Nairobi hotel or at the JKIA airport for the flight home.
