Day 1

You will be picked from your hotel in Arusha/Moshi & drive to Materuni Village. When you arrive at the village office, you will meet a local English speaking guide who will welcome & brief you about the program.
Then you will take a walk to the waterfall (approx. 40min.). On the way you will learn about the village economy, agriculture, cultural life, fauna, flora & a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Upon arrival at the 90m high waterfall, you'll be fascinated by this unique environment. Please bring swim-suit & towel.
When you are ready to continue, you will walk to Mama Agnes home for local Chagga lunch & coffee experience; sing & dance with Chagga people - which is a fun way to immerse in the local culture.
Get to experience traditional coffee processing technique & participate in the process of making organic coffee.
Other activities are- banana beer making process, visiting a local school & traditional chagga house. Later in the day you will be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha/Moshi.
