Materuni village is in the Uru area and is the home of Chagga people. The village is located in the northern part of Moshi town, only 15 KM from the town center. Materuni village sits approximately 1800 M above sea level. Activities in this program includes; Village walks, guided waterfall hikes, get to the viewing point of Mt. Kilimanjaro, coffee tours, local primary school visits, Chagga traditional dance demonstrations, local Chagga Foods, banana beer experiences and lots of smiles.
