3-Day Nyerere Safari with Game Drives & Boat Trip

Transfer & Day + Night Game Drive

You'll be picked up earlier in the morning, taken to the airport, and fly from Zanzibar to Selous earlier in the morning immediately as you drop in Nyerere National Park. You will carry your lunchbox with you and go for a game drive inside the park in a tourist vehicle. You'll be out by late afternoon and go to the lodge for a rest on this day if you go for a night game drive. You'll mostly have huge possibilities to spot wild cats cause they are mostly active during the night, such as leopard, lion, Genet, civet, porcupine, anteater, rabbits, bush baby, etc. You'll be back at the lodge late at night after having the best experience of the nightlife of nature.

Game Drive & Evening Boat Safari

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in the vast wilderness of Nyerere. Explore different habitats including open plains, woodlands, and riverine areas rich in wildlife.

Return to the lodge for a short rest before heading out for an evening boat safari along the Rufiji River. This relaxing experience offers close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species while enjoying a beautiful sunset.

Walking Safari, Maasai Visit & Return Flight

Start your day with a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. This unique experience allows you to explore the bush on foot while learning about animal tracks, plants, and smaller wildlife often missed during game drives.

After breakfast, visit a nearby Maasai village to experience their traditional lifestyle, culture, and daily activities. This cultural interaction adds a meaningful local touch to your safari experience.

Return to the lodge for lunch before heading to the airstrip for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
