Day 1

Transfer to budongo forest

Early in the morning after breakfast, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to Budongo forest. You will check in at your choice of accommodation. The forest reserve is found near Murchison Falls National Park which is the largest national park in Uganda. This place is a real feel of nature since it’s covered with mahogany forest. Accommodation options; Budongo Eco Lodge.

Day 2

Chimpanzee trekking in the forest

Chimpanzee trekking in the forest Enjoy breakfast in the morning at your lodge and after proceed for a chimpanzee trek, this experience takes between 3 to 6 hours as you search for these wonderful primates. On meeting them, you will be given an hour to spend with them as they play, climb on trees, care for their young ones. This walk will also expose you to many other wildlife species including; the birds, monkeys and many more. This forest reserve is managed by both Uganda wildlife and Jane Good all institute. Later after trek, return to your lodge for lunch as you prepare to depart back arriving Kampala in the late afternoon. The guide will drop you off either at your hotel or at the airport for your final departure.
