Drive to Murchison Falls National Park and Afternoon Launch Cruise

At 7:00 am, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala and give you a short briefing about your 2-day safari to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey covers about 300 km (5–6 hours) and takes you through the scenic Ugandan countryside. Along the way, you’ll make a brief stop in Masindi town for refreshments and lunch at a local restaurant or café.

Around 1:00 pm, you’ll arrive at Murchison Falls National Park and head out on an afternoon boat cruise along the Victoria Nile. This 2–3 hour adventure offers incredible views of wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and an impressive variety of bird species. The cruise takes you right to the base of the mighty Murchison Falls, where you’ll marvel at the thundering rush of the Nile squeezing through a narrow gorge.

Morning Game Drive, Visit to the Top of the Falls & Transfer Back to Entebbe

6:30 AM – Begin the day with an early morning game drive, the best time to spot predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas before they retreat from the night hunt. You may also encounter elephants, giraffes, Uganda kobs, and many other species. The soft morning light offers perfect conditions for photography.

9:30 AM – Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and check out.

10:30 AM – Continue to the top of Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile River squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge and plunges 43 meters into the “Devil’s Cauldron.” The thunderous roar and dramatic views make this a truly unforgettable highlight. Take time to explore the viewpoints and capture stunning photos.

Afternoon – Begin your return journey to Kampala, with a stop for lunch in Masindi or at another convenient spot along the route.

6:00 PM – Arrive in Kampala (or Entebbe), where your driver-guide will drop you off at your hotel or preferred location, marking the end of your safari.
