In the afternoon, enjoy a serene boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Witness pink-backed pelicans glide gracefully across the water as their reflection creates rippling patterns; a lone African buffalo wades along the shallows, accompanied by flocks of oxpeckers perched on its back; and a family of baboons gather under the shade of fig trees, their antics bringing life and energy to the tranquil lakeside.

While waiting for your upcoming expedition, indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment, take a refreshing dip in the pool, or spot wildlife wandering near the camp’s outskirts. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling game drive through the park to marvel at the local wildlife living their everyday lakeside lives. Along the water’s edge, although dwindling in numbers, flamingos create a moving pink carpet as herons stalk the shallows for fish. Black and white rhinos roam the grassy savannahs, their massive frames moving with surprising grace. High in the treetops, a sneaky leopard lounges lazily, its piercing eyes scanning the ground below for unsuspecting prey.

Day 4

Masai Mara – Untamed Kingdom

Masai Mara – Untamed Kingdom

On this day, opt for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch to feast upon in the bush or two game drives with a midday break at camp.
Furthermore, two fantastic optional activities are available for you to indulge in. Soar the early-morning skies with a hot air balloon ride, offering a bird’s-eye view of the endless Mara plains, and go on an afternoon visit to a traditional Maasai village to learn about their vibrant culture, watch traditional dances, and engage with the community.
On your game drives, you can expect to spot lions basking in the sun (or, with luck, on a thrilling hunt), slender gazelles playfully bouncing by and curiously looking on at you, and, if the season allows, millions of wildebeests and zebras traverse the savannah in their Great Migration.
Return to the lodge in the evening for a delicious dinner and your last night in the Mara. Reflect on your magical experiences under the Mara’s starlit sky, at the bar, or in the comforts of your intimate tent.
