Day 2

After breakfast at 6:00 am, you will be transferred to where the brief area is and the company guid e driver will hand you over to the authorities. You will enter the forest to do chimpanzee tracking an activity that will enable you see the primates in their natural way of living. You will hav enough time to take pictures under guidance from the ranger. After the Chimpanzee tracking, you shall have lunch and proceed for the afternoon canopy walk. The 90-meter-long canopy walkway in the Nyungwe Forest National Park in southwest Rwanda is 50 meters above the earth. The soaring platform is located above a deep, steep valley that winds through a vast forest. The largest walkway in East Africa is a 200m long structure with three towers. Nyungwe, which spans hundreds of square meters, is thought to be the oldest and largest afro-montane forest still present in East and Central Africa. It dates back to the last ice age.

Day 3

In the morning you shall have breakfast, then go see the tea plantations. Tea is grown in the volcanic regions where the climate and fertile soils together make the idea environment for the tea to grow. Tea was first introduced to Rwanda in 1952 years after coffee was introduced so the farmers’ reception to the tea was warm and accepting. This made tea growing catch on faster and as of today, tea next to coffee is the largest cash crop grown in the country. Tea is Rwanda is grown on several hills of the country on large plantations by both private tea growers and tea cooperatives. After the tea plantation activity, you will be transferred to lake Kivu that generally supports the residents with fishing and subsistence agriculture, although they also farm tea, coffee, and cattle, and harvest honey. If you wish, it is possible to visit coffee processing plants in Cyimbili and Kinunu to see and taste fresh coffee from bean to cup. People also brew beer along the shore and on the islands.

Day 4

You will eat breakfast on this day, then go to Kinigi, the briefing location, at 7:00 am with the hiking equipment and designated rangers. With a height of 3700 meters and the distinctive conic shape of a "perfect" volcano, Mount Bisoke has a deep crater lake inside of it. Although Mount Bisoke is not an especially difficult volcano to climb, it is nonetheless a difficult walk for those who are interested in doing so. Because of the high altitude, climbers must exert extra effort, and depending on how quickly they walk and how often they rest, the entire journey can last anything from five hours to an entire day. Usually, the ascent takes three hours. You will pass through several different vegetation environments while ascending, starting with bamboo woods, continuing through Hagenia-Hypericum forest, and concluding with Seneci-Lobelia bushes close to the summit.

Start your hike with a picnic lunch after breakfast and a briefing from park ranger guides. Finding the mountain gorillas may take up to four hours or more of hiking up and down slick slopes through mist-covered foliage. You will thus need a packed lunch for this excursion. You will finally encounter one of the most sought-after animals, the mountain gorillas, thanks to this ongoing adventure. You will spend a full hour with them after you arrive, observing and learning about their behavior as you capture pictures.
