Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

Depending on where you’ll be staying in Zanzibar, a driver will pick you up at 5:00 am and take you to Zanzibar International Airport. You’ll arrive in Arusha at 9 am, where a professional guide will be waiting to greet and brief you on the journey you’re about to embark on. Tarangire National Park is named after the Tarangire River, which flows along its borders. One of its main highlights is undoubtedly the large herds of majestic elephants, which thrive on the abundant food available there, making them larger and stronger than elsewhere!

The park’s landscape is also filled with ancient baobab trees, which add a unique and stunning beauty to it.

Keep your eyes peeled as you explore the park, and you may also spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, caracals, giraffes, waterbucks, dik-diks, impalas, elands, Grant’s gazelles, baboons, monkeys, and more.
