Upon your arrival, you will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transferred to the Venice Hotel in Arusha for a bed-and-breakfast stay. On the way, we'll stop for a coffee tour to see how Tanzanian organic coffee is processed and also have a taste. We will also visit the coffee plantations.

After this experience, you will have a city tour of the African Cultural Heritage Centre.

Day 2

You will be picked up from the hotel after breakfast and proceed to Lake Manyara. On arrival, enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch in the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park. You will see buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and many other animals, all of them set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift wall.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll head toward Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you descend into the heart of wild Africa - Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.

You'll head to the central area of the park known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River which is a valuable water source for this area. It attracts wildlife representative of most of the Serengeti's species. You will arrive in time for lunch and enjoy a two-hour late afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Seronera Camp.

Day 4

You will have an early game drive and an early lunch and then proceed with a game drive to Ngorongoro. The driver guide will continue elaborating on the animals and natural beauty of Tanzania on the way to Ngorongoro Crater, describing the animals you see en route. The evening will be spent on the crater rim, while dinner and your overnight stay will be at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is not a national park, but an area managed with both wild animals and humans and their domestic animals living together. Descend into the crater to see lions, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos (depending on your luck as there are not many). See the salt lake full of flamingos after the rains. In the late afternoon, drive to the Charity Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Foothills of Mountain Kilimanjaro

Foothills of Mountain Kilimanjaro

Today, we will head to the Materuni village. We will do a short but challenging hike to the Materuni Waterfalls and enjoy the beautiful view. Later on, we will visit a coffee farm and learn about how coffee is grown, harvested and processed. You will then try your hand at roasting and preparing a fresh cup of raw and local coffee. After Materuni, we will drive to the warm-water spring, which is one of the best places to swim with its beautiful scenery. After the safari, we transfer you to the airport (included).
