Day 1

Travel to Bwindi

You will be picked up at your hotel and embark on your journey at 9:00 AM with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a two-hour tour that offers a deep insight into Rwanda’s history. From there, enjoy a scenic drive through the land of a thousand hills to Musanze, where you will visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and learn about her remarkable efforts in gorilla conservation.
After lunch, we continue with a border crossing into Uganda and proceed to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge. Later in the evening, during dinner, your guide will provide a detailed briefing in preparation for the upcoming gorilla trek.

Day 2

Trek Gorillas

Trek Gorillas

This is a day's activity. Breakfast is served by 7:00 a.m. We advise one carries packed lunch in form of a snack and enough litres of water like 1.5 litres.

We then head to the National Park gate for registration and briefing. After registration and briefing one will be assigned a group for trekking with a guide and rangers. Then trekking starts for the gorillas this takes 30 mins - 2 hours depending to the location of the gorillas. You are then given an hour to view the gorillas and then asked to return to the briefing point where you will be awarded a trekking certificate from Uganda Wildlife Authority.

We then move to lake Bunyonyi to the lodge.
