Arusha to Serengeti

After breakfast, you will drive from Arusha to the Serengeti, a 7-hour journey (including all stops). We will briefly stop at the gate and the viewpoint to take in the breathtaking view of the crater. Visit the Maasai village (optional) and explore the culture of the great Maasai tribe, known for chasing lions off their kill and hunting lions to be considered a warrior, and drinking animal blood. Though these traditions are things of the past, with the exception of drinking blood, you can surely learn something.

Arrive in the late afternoon and do a game drive in the Northern Serengeti. Experience the sunset in the Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals. If lucky, you'll see a predator hunting or on a kill. Later, you'll head to Safari Haven Lodge.

Serengeti National Park

On this day, we will go to the wider parts of the Northern Serengeti (south/east/west), depending on wildlife movements. After an early breakfast, we will go on an early game drive. We will have lunch later, continue the game drive until evening, then return to the Serengeti Central Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast at 6:30 am, we will head out on an early game drive, seeing many animals until the afternoon. We will head to the camp for lunch and packing, then take a game drive as we exit the Serengeti. We'll head to Embalakai Luxury Camp in the Ngorongoro Highlands for an overnight stay and to prepare for the next day's adventure.

The Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha region.

After an early breakfast, we will descend the crater (6:15 am) on a journey to find the black rhino. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater, as most animals will be easier to spot in this park due to it being a floor crater. After lunch, we will take a game drive, ascend the crater, return to the lodge to pack, and head back to Arusha.
