Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport in the morning by your driver-guide and depart in a 4×4 safari van for the Masai Mara. Enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint before continuing to the reserve.

Arrive in time for check-in and lunch at Flair Camp Experiences, a budget tented camp located close to the Masai Mara. After some time to relax, enjoy a guided nature walk with a local, where you will learn about native plants, animal tracks and traditional survival skills.

You may also choose to relax at the camp or take part in optional activities.

Optional activities (at an extra cost):
– Afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara ($100 per person Jan–June; $200 per person July–Dec)
– Visit to a traditional Maasai village

Masai Mara Full-Day Game Drive

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara with packed lunch. Explore deeper into the reserve in search of the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino—along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and abundant birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve before continuing your game drive in the afternoon.

After breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley.

Arrive in time for check-in and lunch at Buraha Zenoni Hotel. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive in Lake Nakuru, one of Kenya’s best places to see both black and white rhinos, along with lions, giraffes and a variety of birdlife.
