An exciting game drive is scheduled for the afternoon, offering further opportunities to explore the park and observe its remarkable wildlife in their natural habitat. The park’s birdlife is world-renowned, with over 400 recorded species, including white pelicans, plovers, egrets, and marabou storks, making it a true paradise for bird enthusiasts.

Lake Nakuru National Park

Today, you will enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park, with a relaxed lunch served at your lodge between the two excursions. This schedule allows you to experience the park at different times of day, when various animals are most active and the light is ideal for photography and game viewing.
During the game drives, you will have the opportunity to observe many of the park’s well-known residents, including the famous white and black rhinoceroses, which are among the most iconic and protected species in the area. In addition to the rhinos, Lake Nakuru is home to a rich variety of wildlife such as lions and leopards, which are sometimes seen resting in the shade or surveying the plains.
The park is also renowned for its birdlife. You may see large flocks of flamingos along the lake’s shoreline, as well as Egyptian geese and numerous other water birds that thrive in this important wetland habitat.

As you drive through the park, you may encounter some of the animals you have seen over the past days, allowing you to reflect on and savor the highlights of your safari.

Upon exiting the park, you will proceed by road to Nairobi at an unhurried pace, giving you time to enjoy the changing countryside and views along the way. On arrival in the city, you will be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or directly at the airport, depending on your onward travel arrangements. This will officially bring your safari to a close, with our team ensuring a smooth and comfortable end to your journey.
