Fly into Ndutu

We will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your 2-hour flight to Ndutu Plains in the Ngorongoro Area. You will be greeted by an enormous smile from one of our experienced guides.

After a brief orientation, you will embark on an exploration of Ndutu Calving Season, when thousands of wildebeest gather on the short-grass plains to give birth to their calves. In just a few weeks, countless newborns take their first steps, creating one of nature’s most spectacular wildlife events. The abundance of calves attract lions, cheetahs, hyenas and other predators, offering thrilling encounters and unforgettable safari moments.

Stop for lunch in the afternoon and consitnue with game driving until late afternoon when you'll head to your accommodation for hotel amenities, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu

Enjoy a full day of the calving season in the Ndutu Plains at your own pace. After breakfast, set out to explore the vast, wildlife-rich plains. Enjoy thrilling game drives as you look out for hunting action from predators.

Stop for a picnic lunch in the afternoon, continue with game driving after lunch, and return to your accommodation in the evening as the sun sets.

Ndutu and Fly back to Zanzibar

Wake up very early to catch the sunrise game drive as the horizon begins to glow, painting the endless grasslands in shades of gold. At this time, you also have your best chance of seeing predators hunting.

Return to your hotel for breakfast and packing, then head to the Ndutu Airstrip to catch your return flight to Zanzibar.
