Shoebill search at Mabamba and to Lake Mburo National Park
Your adventure trip starts today. We have breakfast at the guesthouse and after drive to the docking are at Nakiwogo, where you will meet a local guide, that will transfer with you to the swamp for the shoebill search. Your guide will meet you there as he will go by road. After, you transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. It’s a scenic ride to Lake Mburo National Park with a stop at the Equator. The park is a gem with a number of grazers but less in the big 5 count. It is covered with extensive acacia woodlands, this park is one of the best places in the country to enjoy a walking safari and see the giant eland antelope, zebras and leopards.

Morning game walk and Boat safari
Have breakfast and enjoy a day in the park. With no dangerous predators such as lions, Lake Mburo is the best place to go on a guided safari by foot, bike or horse. We shall take an extensive walk, supplemented by a short drive. This will be in guidance of an armed ranger. From the walk we return to the lodge have lunch, take a swim and prepare for the boat safari on the Lake. The boat is a chance to see some specials like the Giant Kingfisher and the African Finfoot birds, hippos, crocodiles, and other aquatic life. Return to the lodge for a relaxed evening and dinner.

Cultural experience and to Lake Bunyonyi
We shall have breakfast at the lodge and check out. Visit the community, we shall choose one member of the community that keeps the Ankole cattle and visit them for the milking experience and ghee making. After we drive to the Kigezi Highlands, perhaps the most fertile and scenic region of Uganda. A landscape of expansive blue lakes, steep terraced slopes and dormant volcanoes. Lake Bunyonyi is great places to stay. We shall have an overnight here. It is Africa’s second deepest lake and dotted with 29 Islands. We shall have a relaxed evening here.

Lake Bunyonyi to Kisoro (Batwa cultural tour)
Today, we take a boat cruise on the lake to visit the Islands. A local guide will take you on a boat, and he tell you about the story about the island. The highlight of these, is the Punishment Island where girls that would get pregnant before marriage would be brought and left to die. The guide will meet you at Rutinda which is the main docking area. After you drive to Kisoro. Check in at your lodge and have lunch before you visit the Batwa. These are pygmies that used to live in the forest at Mgahinga National Park. You will follow their trail through the forest to a cave where they used to worship from. After return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Golden monkey tracking and canoe ride on Lake Mutanda
Golden monkey tracking morning after breakfast. Only a small number remaining in the world, the Golden Monkey can be found in the foothills of the volcanic mountains of Mgahinga National Park in Uganda and in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Characterized by its bright golden body, cheeks and tail, with contrasting black limbs, crown and tail end, these playful primates are a pleasure to watch. We shall drive to the park offices for a briefing and after the guide will lead us to these primates. After the return, we head to Lake Mutanda. Here you can choose to relax or take a canoe on the lake.

Gorilla tracking at Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Rise and shine, have breakfast and carry packed lunch. You probably get up in the dark for an experience of a life time. Today you will be trekking the rare mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi’s mist-covered, forested hills protect an estimated over 480 mountain gorillas, roughly half of the global population. This includes 19 habituated groups which can be tracked. You will start from Rushaga trail head, and guides and rangers will lead on the expedition. After tracking, return to the lodge.

To Ishasha Sector- QENP
After breakfast, we drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. From green rainforest to open savanna through the other sectors of Bwindi (Ruhija and Buhoma), to the vastness on the fringes of Lake Edward, it is little wonder that Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest biodiversity rates of any game park and the sector is famous for the tree climbing lions. Check in at your lodge, have lunch and prepare for an afternoon game drive in search of these lions.

Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel and Night game drive
Have breakfast and in case you missed the tree climbing lions, the morning is another chance to try the search again. We shall after drive to the northern part of the park, where we shall check at our lodge and after prepare for the boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. It is a stretch of water joining Lakes Albert and George. The channel is a famous spot at QENP and home to hippos, crocodiles, buffalo and beautiful bird species endemic to the region. After we return to the lodge, and prepare for a night game drive. The drive is a chance to see the nocturnal animals, or see cats ambush prey at night.

Morning game drive, visit Katwe Salt Lake and crater drive
Have breakfast and explore the park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is considered to be one of Uganda’s most varied and most beautiful protected areas. Queen, as she is affectionately known, is home to two of Africa’s big cats, the majestic lion and the elusive leopard. After breakfast, we head to the Kasenyi plains for a game drive. Return to the lodge, have an early lunch and head to the Katwe Salt Lake and the craters from Katwe-Kabatooro gate to the Queen Pavilion. Salt mining has been taking place at the lake for thousands of years, we shall visit the lake, learn about the community that does the mining, and later drive through the other craters.

Kyambura Gorge Walk and Fort Portal tour
Breakfast at the lodge, we visit Kyambura Gorge before we transfer to Fort Portal. The Kyambura gorge is an 100m and 16km long patch of forest on the edge of the park in the east. Underneath is a beautiful piece of earth with a number of plant life, wildlife, and a river that harbors hippos and also a community of chimpanzees. We shall take a walk after briefing from the Fig tree camp, slope into the gorge and when we return, we head for Fort Portal arriving in the early afternoon. We shall check in at our lodge and have a tour to the Amabeere ga Nyina Mwiru, the palace of King Oyo (The youngest Monarch). We have overnight in Fort Portal.

Semliki National Park Excursion and Bigodi tour
Today after breakfast, we take a day to further east close to the Uganda Congo Border on the floor of the rift valley. Here is on of Uganda’s isolated parks-Semliki. On the floor of the park is Uganda’s hottest hot springs-The Sempaya Hot springs. We shall take a walk to the male and female hot springs, one with a geyser, learn about their formation and later drive back and check in at our lodge at Kibale National Park. We shall take an afternoon tour to Bigodi wetland and from here we have our night at the Lodge.

Kibale Chimpanzee tracking and to Hoima
Track Chimpanzees after breakfast. Kibale forest is a tropical rainforest, home to 13 primate species and an impressive bird list. The primates include the chimpanzees and that’s what the park is famous for. We shall today after our breakfast head to the park office for briefing and set off for tracking. Chimpanzee trekking is a half-day activity starting either early in the morning or just after lunch. We shall do the morning session and after have lunch before we drive to Hoima. Here we shall check in at our hotel for overnight but before, we shall visit the Mparo Tombs which is a burial ground for the Bunyoro Kingdom. Have dinner here.

To Murchison Falls National Park
Today you will cross the Murchison Falls National Park entering the reserve from the south, whilst staying overnight on the northern section of the park. Along the way, you will visit the top of the waterfalls, which are spectacular. Here is where the park gets its name, a point where the river Nile meets its greatest obstacle, fixing into a 7m gap. The wildlife is concentrated at the northern section of the park, after you have crossed the Nile River. We shall drive slowly, as you view wildlife, check in at our lodge, relax at the pool as we wait for the evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Game drive and boat safari and night at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Early morning at 6 am, we have breakfast and leave the lodge for the morning game drive as animals are most active early morning and late afternoon, these are the best hours for your game drive. We shall wake the morning drive through the Buligi area. Drive through the network of tracks as we search for the big game and then head to the jetty. We shall take an early boat trip to the base of the falls, and have our lunch at Red Chili and then head to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Rhino Tracking and overnight at Kitgum
Have breakfast and prepare to see rhinos. Seeing rhinos in their natural environment, up close and in person is an unforgettable experience. The Rhino Sanctuary is the only place to do this in Uganda so if you’re looking to complete your ‘big five’ game checklist. Today we head out across the 70 square kilometers of rolling land and native woodlands on which the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is located visitors will keep an eye out for the rhinos which have thrived since their arrival in 2004 and 2005. It now has 37 rhinos. After here, we drive to Kitgum to reduce on the distance to Kidepo Valley National Park.

To Kidepo valley National Park
Morning of driving ahead. Northern Uganda is the least developed region of Uganda. It is a beautiful area though, and completely different from the lush south west. We shall arrive in the mid-morning, check in at the lodge and have lodge, we shall later head out for the drive to the Kidepo Valley. This is the area of the park where there are ostriches, buffaloes, and elephants. We shall also reach the hot springs in the area before we return the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Explore Kidepo Valley National Park
Kidepo Valley National Park is one of Africa’s last great wilderness areas. It is an endless area of vast savanna plains and mountain ranges. Out on the savanna, you are likely to see impressive herds of ostriches, hartebeest, buffaloes and giraffes and possibly predators such as lions, cheetah and leopards. While the game viewing is excellent, it is the thrilling sense of supreme isolation that many people enjoy most. We shall have a picnic lunch in the park.

To Moroto and Culture tour
Today after breakfast, you exit the park via the Mataba gate to Kaabong and Kotido. The scenery changes drastically to plain arid landscapes with large boulders (kopjes). From Kidepo to Moroto is about 4-hour drive. When you reach Moroto, the guides from Kara-Tunga can take you into the manyatta's; traditional villages of the Karamojong. Immerse yourself in nomadic pastoral culture of the Karamojong by experiencing daily life in a manyatta.

To Sipi Falls (Coffee tour)
We are going further south-east today. You will drive to Sipi Falls at the foothills of Mount Elgon, home to a series of three spectacular waterfalls, some of the best Arabica coffee in the world, and beautiful sunsets! Sipi Falls is a place to enjoy for some great hiking, but also a place to just relax and unwind in a cool and peaceful environment. When we arrive, we shall check in at the lodge and take a tour through the community to coffee farmers and experience the process of plant to cup.

Sipi Falls Hike and transfer to Jinja
A morning to experience Sipi Top activity after breakfast. A hike to the 3 water falls.
Arguably the most spectacular water falls in All Uganda and East Africa at large. Sipi Falls consists of three water falls Cascading downhill at different altitudes and that is 100m, 85m and 65m respectively. Though the 85m and 65m falls are beautiful and easily Accessed, the 100m attracts the crowds. The water cascades down on the main water falls of 100m down slopes to the flat plains. We shall take the 3–4-hour hike, have lunch and transfer to Jinja town.

The Adventure capital welcomes you. After breakfast at the guesthouse, we drive to Bujjagali for Rafting. Rafting was once Uganda’s best and top attraction even top with gorillas. We shall take on rafting on the Bujagali side for those that would love the adventure, those that won’t there are other adventure and water activities to engage in (Bungee Jumping, Tubing, Water slide etc.). After the half day, we shall have a tour to the source of the Nile.

Kampala city tour
Everything good comes to an end. Drive from Jinja to Kampala, which is about 85 Km to the west of Jinja. Arrive in the early morning when the town is getting busy and check in at your lodge, in Kampala before you head for the city tour. You will Visit the Old Kampala Mosque, King’s Palace and Buganda Kingdom Parliament, a market, and Bahai Temple. You can do it on a Boda Boda (Motorcycle taxi) or a drive to the attractions.

Depending on your departure time, you have some time to relax at your lodge - well deserved after such an epic trip! If you have the energy to head out, to Entebbe, be by Lake Victoria or visit the Botanical gardens. Your guide will drop you at the Airport for exit.
