The Endless Plains, Chasing the Horizon Across the heart of the Serengeti
There is nothing quite like waking up in the Serengeti. After an early breakfast, you'll head out for a full morning of game drives across the park's iconic plains. The Serengeti is the stage for some of the most extraordinary wildlife encounters in the world, from cheetahs sprinting across the open grassland to leopards draped lazily over acacia branches, and lion prides navigating their territories with quiet authority. If your visit coincides with the Great Wildebeest Migration, witnessing hundreds of thousands of animals moving across the landscape is an experience that defies description.
Lunch will be served inside the park, and the afternoon game drives continue as you begin making your way back eastward. The journey itself is a game drive; keep your eyes on the bush, as the Serengeti rarely disappoints. As the sun begins its descent, you'll arrive back in Karatu for a peaceful dinner and overnight stay.
