Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Picked up from your hotel/Airport and driven west to Masai Mara National Reserve with a picnic lunch packed to enjoy along the way. You will arrive at the camp in time for a late afternoon game drive in Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded in this reserve. The Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra in July, August, and September, but there are resident wildlife all year round. Dinner and overnight at mara maisha camp.

Full-Day Game Drive

After breakfast, you will head out for an exciting day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The Masai Mara National Reserve is the best area for wildlife viewing in Kenya because the reserve has an extensive road and track network, allowing for close-range viewing and photography. You will break for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles as you enjoy your lunch. Later in the evening, you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
