Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Early morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Arusha Airport where you will fly to Serengeti National Park.
On arrival at Seronera Airstrip, you will meet your professional and well-experienced local English speaking safari driver guide. After greetings, he will give you a short pre-safari briefing and then embark on a game drive in Serengeti National Park for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.

Serengeti is one of the largest parks in Africa at 15,000 sq km, is home to some three million large mammals and is made up of a diversity of landscapes with the southern region being dominated by the lush grassy plains that draw about two million wildebeest, half a million zebras and some quarter million antelopes to make the hazardous journey in search of pasture when the autumn rains come.

Central Serengeti National Park

Your 4-day Serengeti safari continues and on these days, you have an option to do a morning and afternoon game drive or full-day game drive. An early morning game drive allows you to spot a cat family on the road as they try to avoid the morning mist. You may also spot animals coming back from their long night of hunting or a group of lionesses organizing an ambush or eating along the road as well as witness their actions like hunting, killing, fighting etc.

Proceed on following the great migration. Spend some time watching the migration of herds, the big cats, and others. Your packed lunch will be served in the bush or at one of the picnic sites in the area. Late afternoon drive to the camp before or during sunset for dinner and overnight.

Schedule flight from Seronera Airstrip to Arusha Airport

After breakfast, you will check out from your camp with a packed lunch for another morning game drive. Later, drive to the Seronera Airstrip to catch your flight to Arusha Airport. If you're not flying on the same day, accommodation can be arranged upon request (at an extra cost). If you're flying on the same day, we will take you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to catch your flight back home.
