Day 1

Depart with your guide from Kampala heading southwest to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will enjoy a lot of sightseeing on the theMasaka-Mbarara road including the traditional Ankole long-horned cattle, farmlands, and numerous tea plantations. On your way, you will make a famous stopover at the equator for photography. You will have lunch in Mbarara at the Igongo Cultural center.

Then proceed to Queen Elizabeth. En route, you will pass via the two twin crater lakes in Bunyaruguru, a unique feature that shows two crater lakes that are separated by a small chunk of Land, after this, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Game Drive and A boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

Begin your day with a morning game drive in Kasenyi plains, starting at 6:30 am and lasting 3-4 hours. Your driver will pick you up early at your lodge. Search for lions and other wildlife, possibly spotting leopards along the way. Encounter elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas, mongoose, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, and various birds. Afterward, visit Kasenyi Salt Lake for relaxation, photos, coffee, and souvenirs. Enjoy lunch at Tembo Restaurant before heading to Mweya for a 3 pm boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Witness hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and numerous water birds as the channel connects Lakes Edward and George. Spend 2 hours exploring and photographing wildlife coming to bathe and drink after a hot day. Finally, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
