Day 1

You will be picked up by our guide, who will brief you about the whole safari before you travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which is found in the southwestern part of Uganda. Along the way, there is a local drum and craft-making community, so you will have a visit here. Then, you'll have a stopover at the Equator to take photos, also feel free to buy some crafts and souvenirs as you head to Mbarara town, where you will have your lunch. Thereafter, you'll proceed to Bwindi, where you will arrive in the late afternoon. You'll check in at the lodge, relax in the evening, and have dinner.

Day 2
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You'll begin with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing by rangers on park guidelines and group assignments. You'll embark on a thrilling gorilla trek, observing these gentle giants as they feed, play, and carry out daily activities. The trek duration varies from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the gorillas' location and movement. Be prepared for long walks in muddy, steep terrain and carry a walking stick. You'll spend an hour with the gorillas, taking photos and marveling at their behavior. You'll return to the lodge to relax or opt for a Batwa community visit to immerse yourself in their culture, witnessing their dance, and listening to captivating stories. You'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3
Transfer from Bwindi to Kabale/Lake Bunyonyi
Transfer from Bwindi to Kabale/Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast at your hotel, you will start your safari to Lake Bunyonyi, continue through the impressive hilly country of Kabale, popularly known as “the Switzerland of Uganda”, and arrive at Lake Bunyonyi, one of the deepest lakes in Africa. You'll have lunch, then go for a boat ride. This is a serpentine-shaped lake, fine for swimming, and is bilharzia-free. It also overlooks the beautiful Kigezi highlands. The lake has many islands such as Bushara, Punishment, and Bwama islands. You'll take a boat trip on the lake to discover these islands. It’s a good place for relaxation and taking photos of western Uganda. Then, you'll go for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll take an excursion to the Island of the sky; a walk that will give you a more satisfying view of this lake and most of the Islands therein. Then, you'll go to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4
Transfer from Bunyonyi back to Entebbe
Transfer from Bunyonyi back to Entebbe
You'll have an early breakfast, check out, leaving the “Switzerland of Uganda” behind, and start your journey back to Kampala, passing through rolling hills with terraces. You will also have a great time viewing the lush vegetation of the different areas you will go through. You'll have lunch in Mbarara and continue to Kampala, arriving late afternoon. The guide will drop you off.
