Tarangire National Park

You will leave Arusha in the morning and make your way to Tarangire National Park, arriving before midday. Once in the park, you will be able to enjoy both a morning and afternoon game drive as well as a delicious lunch. In the early evening, you will exit the park and make your way to the Luxury Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Main attractions at Tarangire include elephant herds and massive baobab trees, over 550 different migratory and permanent bird species, abundant biodiversity, and the Tarangire River.

Serengeti National Park

You’ll depart Karatu in the morning after a hearty breakfast and make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park. You’ll have a chance to see some of the Ngorongoro Crater along the way before we reach the Serengeti gate. After lunch, you will head out on an afternoon game drive to look for some of the wild game before sunset and dinner at the Lodge.

Main attractions in the Serengeti include the Great Migration, famous grassland plains, and a high number of predators.

Today you will head out on an early morning game drive for a chance to witness a magnificent African sunrise in the bush. We’ll savor a cup of coffee and experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake-up amidst the dew-covered grass. This is when the animals are most active and when you’ll have the best chance of seeing predators on a hunt. Later we’ll head back to the camp for breakfast and some relaxation before heading out on an afternoon game drive.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart the campsite with a picnic lunch in hand and descend into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. We’ll explore the magnificent world of diversity that lies within, surrounded by the imposing walls that encircle the reserve. It is possible to see all of Africa's Big Five within the crater among a vast array of other wildlife, including hundreds of bird species. You’ll spend a full day in the crater before heading back to Arusha.
