Depart Entebbe flying to Bwindi Forest National Park

You will have an early cup of coffee and there proceed to the airport to catch your flight to the nearest airstrip to Bwindi Forest where you will meet with your driver guide who will drive you to your lodge located inside the forest. You may choose to take a walk around the villages close to the forest or stay at the lodge enjoying the rest of the day at leisure.

Gorilla Trekking Experience - Bwindi Forest NP

After breakfast you will head out to the park headquarters where you have to get to not later than 7:30am. And here you will join other visitors for a briefing by one of the park staff and thereafter you will meet with the lead guide who will take you into the forest to find the gorilla family that you will be allocated to. This may take between 2-7 hours round trip depending on how long the family you are trekking will have moved today from where it was last seen yesterday.

Depart Bwindi & fly to Entebbe

After breakfast, your driver-guide will make sure you depart the lodge at the right time so you can be at the airstrip in time to be able to catch your flight to Entebbe. And this will mark the end of your 3-day flying into the gorilla safari.
