Drive from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere Np

On the first day of the tour, you will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and driven to Nyerere National Park. The journey will take approximately 7 hours with stops along the way for lunch and to enjoy the scenic beauty of the surrounding areas. On arrival at the park, you will check in at your mid-range accommodation and have some leisure time before dinner.

Walking Safari & Boat Tour

After Breakfast accompany with an armed ranger on a walking safari in the reserve. The sight and sounds (and smell) of a walking are special treat that will live long in your memory the thrill of creeping up to animals to shoot them with your camera is a great experience. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari where you will explore the different channels and lakes of the Rufiji River System, surrounded by hippos and crocodiles. A large variety of herons, storks, ducks and other water birds may be seen. And you will also see land mammals, such as giraffe and elephant.

Full Game Drive

The third day of the tour will be dedicated to exploring the park on a full-day game drive with an option of walking safari. You will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, hippos, giraffes, buffalos, and crocodiles. You will also get to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the park, including the Rufiji River which is home to a large number of crocodiles and hippos. A picnic lunch will be provided during the game drive, and you will return to your campsite in the late afternoon.

Drive Back to Dar es Salaam

On the last day of the tour will be dedicated to exploring the park on morning game drive, After the game drive, you will return to your accommodation for lunch before checking out and driving back to Dar es Salaam, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
