You will depart Nairobi on a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, where millions of flamingoes turn the shore of the lake to pink. You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. In the evening, you will go for a game drive, in this beautiful park which boasts Kenya's first Rhino Sanctuary, home to rare black rhinos. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

You will leave for early morning and evening game drives to absorb the enormity of the Mara. In this country of breathtaking vistas, you'll view its vast assemblages of plains game together with their associated predators: buffalo, black rhino, hippo, leopards, cheetahs, lions, zebras, Coke's hartebeests, white-bearded gnu, oribi, warthogs, and Thompson's and Grant's gazelles. You will have an optional visit to the Maasai cultural village. This one-hour visit to a Maasai village is a chance to interact with the Maasai and get a glimpse into their culture, and unique way of life, and see firsthand some of their customs and practices. All meals and an overnight stay will be at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.
