With packed Lunch, depart Arusha for two hours drive through the Maasai stepple towards Tarangire National Park. As you enter the park we’ll be greeted by a landscape dominated by majestic baobabs rising out of the acacia parkland, forming a perfect backdrop for the large herds of African Elephants wandering among them. Other mammals sharing this habitat range from Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Wilddogs and Black-backed Jackal, to Kirk’s Dik-Dik, Dwarf and Banded Mongoose, Impala, Beisa Oryx, Steinbok and African Hare. You should expect to see Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest and Waterbuck The variety of birds we may see include Maasai Ostrich, White-headed Volture, African Scops Owls and the endemic Ashy Starling. Lunch in the Park, later in the afternoon drive to Twiga Lodge & Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Mto wa Mbu - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart towards Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes including the abundant impalas and Thomson’s gazelles. As for Big Cats and large predators, it’s the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous river crossings having been filmed in this park. Smaller animals like foxes, mongoose, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, rock hyrax and African hares, together with more than 500 species of birds. Dinner and Overnight Seronera Campsite.

Day 3

Full day in the Serengeti National Park. You will drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River. It is good for possible lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings.
In the afternoon, we will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of lion and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. This makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry seasons including lions, which like to lie in wait for animals coming to drink! Dinner and Overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

In this day we suggest a very early wake up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness. It’s really one of the most beautiful experiences to have. Then we’ll proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. It’s one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black Rhino. The concentration of African wildlife if the greatest in the continent. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants that are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. This is due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. You will reach Ngorongoro in time for a sundowner. Dinner and Overnight at Fanaka Campsites & Lodges.

Day 5
Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha

Breakfast at Twiga Lodge, you’ll then drive into this beautiful park with it’s lush vegetation and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees. The park is famous for Elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and a variety of antelope inhabit the park as well as a variety of monkeys and a large population of hippo’s. If you are lucky you may see the Tree Climbing Manyara lions, lazily resting on the branches of an “Acacia tortilis” tree. The birdlife is also abundant, with flamingoes, pelicans, hornbills and plenty of forest species. After lunch drive back to Arusha.
Once you arrive in Arusha, if possible we will drop you at Kilimanjaro International Airport. This will depends on if you have a late Flight. If not, you will spend another night in Arusha. End of service!
