Transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara NR

Depart from Nairobi in the morning (around 8 am) and drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. Upon arrival at your Serena Bush Camp in the Masai Mara, enjoy a welcome drink. Have lunch at the camp/lodge and take some time to relax and settle in.

In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Masai Mara. Your experienced safari guide will take you through the vast grasslands in search of wildlife, including the Big Five (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard), zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and various antelope species. Enjoy the stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife sightings during the game drive. Return to your camp/lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at your camp or lodge in the Masai Mara, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive from the Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru will take approximately 5 hours. You can enjoy the scenic views along the way. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park and proceed to your chosen accommodation, The Cliff, for check-in and lunch.

After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is known for its large population of rhinos, including both black and white rhinos. You can also spot other wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various bird species. Visit the shores of Lake Nakuru, which is often surrounded by a pink hue due to the large flocks of flamingos that inhabit the lake. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife sightings during the game drive. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru NP to Nairobi

On this last day of your safari, you will wake up early for a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This is a great time to spot wildlife and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the park. After the game drive, return to your accommodation for breakfast and check out. You will be assisted by our responsible tour guide. Depart from Lake Nakuru, and you will be transferred back to Nairobi via road. It is a 4-hour and 16-minute drive to your destination, with a stop for lunch along the way. You will arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, depending on traffic and road conditions.
