You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi by our company representative and driven west to Lake Nakuru. Along the way, we will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. This stop will give you a chance to stretch your legs and take photos of the beautiful rift valley landscapes.
After the viewpoint, we will head to a hotel on the shores of Lake Naivasha for lunch. After lunch, we will continue west and arrive in Nakuru in time for an afternoon game drive. After the game drive, you will check in for dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
Lake Nakuru National Park is stunning all year round. It has rocky hills, yellow-barked acacia trees, and a waterfall. The park is home to flamingos, black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, and the endangered Rothschild's giraffes.
If you are flying long distances to Nairobi, we recommend arriving a day early. This will help you adjust to East African time and reduce jet lag, making your stay more enjoyable.

Day 2
Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

Today, after breakfast, you will drive through the Rift Valley floor to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. This afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive in the reserve, where you'll search for the Big Five and other herbivores that roam this beautiful savanna. You'll return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and your overnight stay.
One of our favorite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Masai Mara National Reserve, thanks to its incredible wildlife, which includes big cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, along with elephants. There is a great chance you will also see giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, of course, impalas. Be sure to bring your binoculars, as over 500 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve. It’s a place known for its stunning savannah landscapes, filled with acacia trees. Visiting the reserve is a highlight for many travelers.

This is a full day spent game viewing across the rich tree-studded grassland and rolling hills of the famous "Eighth Wonder of the Animal World."The Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game animals like leopards, cheetahs, and lions. It also has numerous elephants and virtually every other type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. You will have a full-day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve.
Your lunch today is picnic lunch boxes in the savannah under a flat-top acacia tree while watching the animals grazing. You'll continue with the game viewing en route to your camp, arriving back in the evening after thoroughly exploring this massive grassland savannah measuring 1,500sq km.
You have an option of booking a balloon ride today which takes off early in the morning. After landing, the crew helps you out of the basket and escorts you to a lovely setting for a bush breakfast. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Wake up to another glorious day in the Masai Mara! Start your morning with an early game drive to watch the animals when they are most active. Afterward, return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast and lunch.
During the hottest part of the day, take some time to relax at the camp. You can read your favorite book, write about your safari experiences in your journal, or listen to your favorite music while birdwatching. Don't worry; the animals will be taking it easy as well.
In the afternoon, venture out for another game drive through the park, then return to the lodge for dinner and enjoy a night under the stunning Masai Mara stars.
Alternatively, you can depart early in the morning with packed lunch boxes for a full day of game driving. You'll return to the lodge late in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, prepare for a long but breathtaking drive to the Isebania border post, which separates Kenya and Tanzania. After completing the border immigration process, you will switch vehicles and meet your Tanzanian guide. He will welcome you and take you to the expansive Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, with lunch served en route.
You will arrive at the camp late in the afternoon, so keep an eye out for the millions of animals that inhabit this area during the drive. Tonight, you will enjoy an authentic African safari experience, as the lodge is situated in the northern part of the Serengeti within the national park and in the midst of all the animal activity. Upon arrival, your driver and the camp manager will provide you with a safety briefing.
Note: The drive from Masai Mara to Serengeti is a true African "massage", featuring rough roads, and can take up to 8–9 hours, including the border crossing. Alternatively, we can arrange a flight transfer from the Mara to the Serengeti.

Wake up to another beautiful day in the northern part of the Serengeti, a prime location for the wildebeest migration. The Northern Serengeti is known for having far fewer visitors and safari vehicles compared to the peak crowds seen across the border in Kenya's Maasai Mara during migration season.
Start your day with an early morning game drive along the Mara River to catch the crossing of the rivere wildebeest when the animals are most active. Afterward, return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast and lunch.
During the hottest part of the day, unwind at the camp—read your favorite book, write in your journal about the safari, or simply listen to your favorite music while observing the birds. Don't worry; the animals will be resting too.
In the afternoon, you'll head out for another drive through the park. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and enjoy another night under the stars of the Serengeti.

In the afternoon, you’ll set off on another game drive through the park. Later in the evening, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and enjoy another night under the stars of the Serengeti.

Wake up to yet another glorious day in Central Serengeti. Start the day with an early morning game drive to search for animals when they're at their most active. Then, you'll return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast and lunch.
You will spend the hottest part of the day relaxing in the camp, reading your favorite book or writing your journal about the safari, or just listening to your favorite music while observing the birds. Don't stress; the animals will be doing the same. You'll head off again in the afternoon for another drive through the park. In the evening, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and another night under the Serengeti's stars.

Day 9

You'll have an early breakfast at 6:00 am, Enjoy a final game drive through the Serengeti as you exit the park this morning. Thereafter, Depart for Ngorongoro with picnic lunches. Descend into the crater floor for the half-day crater tour. There are only two roads that connect the crater rim with the crater floor, One for driving down, One for driving up, and another that goes both ways. The crater is roughly 20 km/12 miles wide and 600 m/2,000 ft deep. Once you’ve reached the top of the caldera it takes about 45 minutes to descend to the crater floor. The floor is home to a rich and highly concentrated wildlife. Some 20,000 mammals of size live there, Including about 20 black rhinoceros, Making the crater the best place in Tanzania to see the rhino.
The animals here are less wary of humans and vehicles and as a result, it's easier to watch them from up close. Where animals roam the lakes, rivers, woodlands, and hills. Exit the crater and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10

After breakfast this morning, you will proceed to Tarangire National Park, with a short break at the famous Mto wa Mbu village (Optional). In Mto wa Mbu, you can either ride on a tuk-tuk or walk through the rice fields, observing the locals as they go about their daily activities. Along the way, you will have the chance to sample local banana beer and interact with the villagers.
You will then continue your journey to Tarangire, arriving in time for lunch.
After lunch, you will embark on your first game drive to explore this beautiful park, which has the second-highest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania, following the Serengeti. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 11

You will set off early this morning at around 7:30 AM, heading to the Kenyan border at the Namanga border post. Your route will take you through Arusha, leaving Tarangire National Park behind. Upon arrival at the border, you will go to the immigration office, which functions as a one-stop border post. After clearing the border procedures, you will meet your Kenyan driver-guide, who will drive you to Nairobi. The drive takes about 6-7 hours.
On arrival in Nairobi, you can either head straight to the airport or choose to visit the famous Carnivore or Tamarind Restaurant for a celebratory late lunch or dinner, then be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your flight back home.
Note: You can conclude this safari at Arusha Kilimanjaro Airport (KIA) or return to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Airport JKIA) for your outbound flight. Additionally, you have the option to extend your safari with a visit to Amboseli National Park in Kenya for a night or two. Or an extension to Zanzibar Island.
