Kilimanjaro waterfal and hotspring
Early in the morning after breakfast you will depart from the hotel heading toward Materuni Waterfalls, 1 hour 45 Minutes’ drive to Materuni village located at the bottom of Kilimanjaro national park. You will be able to learn traditions and customs as well as how the local people, called ‘Chagga’, grow and process the coffee for subsistence use, you will visit coffee farm, pick and roast your own coffee beans and make your own strong coffee, traditional way. Followed by a 30 minutes hike to Materuni waterfalls, which is about 80 m higher, to explore nature and swimming. This waterfall is fresh water from Mount Kilimanjaro many rivers and streams. After this tour you will enjoy your picnic lunch.
Chemka hot springs - this is probably the best place to swim. Emanating from within the earth, the geo-thermally warmed water is constantly renewed and is therefore very fresh, crystal clear and clean. It’s a very pleasant place to spend a couple of hours with friends, have fun and relax.

Ngorongoro crater
Rise and shine! Today’s destination is the world famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today’s destination is the world famous Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site. Once you have reached the crater rim, you will drive down a steep track into the 600 m deep caldera to see a range of animals, grasslands, birds and a lake. The massive collapsed volcano is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the Big Five to spotted hyenas, rare wild dogs and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch in the crater, you will return to Arusha airport to catch a flight back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the early evening.
