Ol Pejeta Conservancy

You will depart Nairobi very early in the morning and proceed north, driving past lush pineapple, tea and coffee plantations to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, you will relax before setting out on an afternoon game drive in the conservancy which is East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary. It is the only place in Kenya where chimpanzees can be seen and holds some of the highest predator densities in Kenya. Viewing of the two remaining northern white rhinos can be arranged at an extra cost.

Extra activities such as game walks, night game drives, horseback, guided bush walks, lion tracking, bird watching, game viewing from blinds, game drives with meals in the bush, and camel rides are available upon request.
You will end the day with a relaxing dinner.

After breakfast, set out on a morning game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy in search of iconic wildlife. Focus on big cats—lions, cheetahs, and leopards—as they patrol, rest, or scan for prey, while also looking for elephants, black and white rhinos, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, antelopes, and diverse birdlife.

Return to the lodge for a freshly prepared lunch and time to rest, reflect on the morning’s sightings, or simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

In the afternoon, head out on another game drive, exploring different parts of the conservancy to increase your chances of more wildlife encounters. Learn about Ol Pejeta’s vital conservation work, including efforts to protect endangered species like rhinos and community initiatives that help preserve this habitat.

After a rewarding day, return to camp for a warm dinner, a chance to share stories, and an overnight stay surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the African wilderness.
