Full day Masai Mara

Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five as well as the diverse wildlife that inhabits this vast Kenyan game reserve. More to that, the Mara presents spectacular orange-tinged sunsets that are worth photographing on clear days.

The Masai Mara is home to a diverse range of animals like Maasai giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, gray jackals, spotted hyenas, topis, impalas, and wildebeests. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos can also be spotted in large groups. Occasionally, lions may be seen either basking in the sun after a large meal or surveying the plains for their next meal. On the other hand, leopards and cheetahs are more difficult to spot, but they are fairly common. The annual wildebeest exodus, known as the great migration, occurs in July and August. Furthermore, millions of these grazers migrate north from the Serengeti in search of greener pastures before returning to Southern Serengeti in October.
