Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

On the first day of your safari to the Masai Mara National Reserve, you will be picked up from Nairobi city's central point at 7:30am.

Your 3-day Masai Mara tour begins early, with our professional driver/guide briefing you about the safari and then welcoming you to your exclusive safari 4x4 pop-up roof shared vehicle.

Along the route, we will make a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a short break and photos as you marvel at the sights of the Rift Valley. From there, head straight to Narok Town, where we will stop for a few minutes for a last-minute shopping and bathroom break.

Then, head to Masai Mara and check in at the lodge. You will have time to take lunch and relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive. The game drive will end at around 6:00pm. Head to the camp for dinner and a night's rest.

Masai Mara National Reserve

On your second day, we will start with an early breakfast and carry a picnic lunch. Then, we will head to the jungle to look for wildlife and the elusive Big Five of the Masai Mara. The Mara is home to lions, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, hippos, zebras, leopards, gazelles, hyenas, and different bird species. Return to the lodge, have dinner, and rest for the night.

Masai Mara Sopa Lodge offers a wide range of activities in which one can engage, such as swimming, game drives, hot air balloon rides (extra charges), a bush dining experience (extra charges), bird watching (extra charges), nature walks, card and board games.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

On the third day, enjoy your breakfast, then take a road trip to Nairobi with a lunch break in Narok Town (self-sponsored). The approximate arrival time in Nairobi is 4:00pm. We will drop you off at the airport, home, or hotel.

This marks the end of your 3-day safari of magical Kenya.
