Arusha to Tarangire
After pick-up from your hotel in Arusha, you will depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. Tanzania’s third-largest national park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park, which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. After the game drive, you will head back to your camp/lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.

Day 2
Ndutu
Ndutu
Once you reach Ndutu, you will begin your day game drive with a convenient stop for your picnic lunch. Sweeping grasslands of the Ndutu cover the region, which gradually fades into the Serengeti.
Ndutu forms a part of the route for the annual migration of more than 2 million wildebeests and thousands of zebra, antelope and gazelle. During game drives at the right season, between December and April, you will be able to see the fertile plains turn into calving grounds and a nursery for the great migration.
The calving season attracts hordes of predators prying on vulnerable young wildebeest. Crested with Lake Ndutu and Lake Masek, these waterholes offer plenty of wildlife during the Dry season.
Ndutu is also home to 6 species of big cats: leopard, lion, cheetah, caracal, serval, and wildcat. The action-packed game drive will conclude around 5 PM.

Ngorongoro Crater game drive
Ngorongoro Crater game drive
Very early in the morning, a vehicle will take you 2,000 ft down into the crater.
The Ngorongoro Crater is often called "Africa’s Eden" and the "8th Natural Wonder of the World." A visit to the crater is a major draw for tourists visiting Tanzania and a world-class attraction. It formed approximately 2.5 million years ago when a volcanic mountain sank due to inactivity. The crater has evolved into a unique and integral part of Tanzania’s ecosystem. The crater is actually a caldera, measures 22.5 km across, and the rim walls stand 600 m high. Views from within and from the rim are breathtaking. The crater houses 30,000 animals such as rhino, lion, hyena, buffalo and a large variety of birds.

The game drive will continue until evening, with a brief break for a picnic lunch. During the game drive, watch for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys.
Another spectacle of Lake Manyara National Park is the tree-climbing lions; however, spotting them is a game of luck. In the right season, you can see the shoreline turning pink with millions of flamingos flocking there. After the game drive, you will return to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.
