Day 2

Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park

At 6:00 am, you will embark on your morning game drive through the park tracks. You will look out for an abundance of wildlife including giraffes, elephants, kobs, warthogs, lions, leopards, and hyenas to name but a few. You will return to the lodge just in time for relaxation and a sumptuous lunch. Thereafter, you will head out for a boat cruise/launch experience on the Kazinga Channel to explore the marine life and wildlife on the riverbank.

Day 3

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through Ishasha Sector

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through Ishasha Sector

You will check out of the lodge in the morning after breakfast and head to Bwindi through Ishasha Sector where you can hope to get a chance to spot tree-climbing lions. You will arrive at your lodge in the evening and relax in preparation for the trekking experience the next day.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

In the morning after breakfast, you will report to the Bwindi National Park office where you will be briefed on the gorilla trekking activity. Soon after, you will embark on your trek which takes about 4 hours depending on the last spot where the gorillas slept. In the afternoon, you will return to the lodge for lunch. Thereafter, you will visit the Batwa community that inhabited the forest before the park was gazetted as a protected area for the gorillas to learn about their ancient way of life and culture.

Day 5

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Mburo National Park. You will check out the Eclipse Monument and visit the Igongo Cultural Museum Center en route. You will come close to Ankole cattle, zebras, giraffes, etc in the park. You will enjoy the sunset view from your lodge at Kigarama Hill and a dip in the pool.
