Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading west through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. A brief scenic stop allows you to admire sweeping views before continuing toward the legendary Masai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch at your safari lodge or camp before settling in and preparing for your first wildlife adventure.

In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive across the vast plains of the Masai Mara. This iconic reserve is famous for its high concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs, and countless plains animals. Full Day in Masai Mara

Wake up to the sounds of the African bush and head out for an early morning game drive when wildlife activity is at its peak. Your guide will take you across different habitats in the reserve, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, and perhaps a leopard resting in the trees. The Masai Mara offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa.

In the afternoon, continue exploring the savannah during another game drive. Depending on the season, you may witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras roaming the plains or dramatic predator interactions. Return to your lodge in the evening to relax, share safari stories, and enjoy dinner under the African sky.

Day 3

Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and travel north toward Lake Nakuru, passing through the fertile landscapes of the Rift Valley. The journey offers scenic views of farms, escarpments, and small towns as you make your way to one of Kenya’s most unique national parks.

Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a game drive inside Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its large population of rhinos and seasonal flocks of flamingos along the lake shoreline. You may also see Rothschild’s giraffes, buffalo, and leopards before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru for a long but scenic journey to Amboseli National Park located near the Kenya-Tanzania border. This is the longest travel day of the safari, and the route takes you through Nairobi and southward across the Kenyan countryside.

Lunch will be en route during the journey to break up the drive. You will arrive in Amboseli in the late afternoon with views of Mount Kilimanjaro often appearing dramatically above the plains. If time allows, enjoy a short evening game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
