Your guide will take you across different habitats in the reserve, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, and perhaps a leopard resting in the trees. In the afternoon, continue exploring the savannah during another game drive. Depending on the season, you may witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras roaming the plains or dramatic predator interactions. Day 3

Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a game drive inside Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its large population of rhinos and seasonal flocks of flamingos along the lake shoreline. You may also see Rothschild’s giraffes, buffalo, and leopards before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru for a long but scenic journey to Amboseli National Park located near the Kenya-Tanzania border. This is the longest travel day of the safari, and the route takes you through Nairobi and southward across the Kenyan countryside.
Lunch will be en route during the journey to break up the drive. You will arrive in Amboseli in the late afternoon with views of Mount Kilimanjaro often appearing dramatically above the plains. If time allows, enjoy a short evening game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
