Day 1

Tarangire National park

8 a.m. pick-up from Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport or accommodation, followed by a 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, where you'll enjoy a full day of game viewing before continuing on to Fig Tree Lodge for dinner and overnight stay. The Tarangire National Park is 115 kilometers from Arusha and has a square size of 2800 kilometers. The Tarangire River, from which Tarangire gets its name, is a source of water for wild animals. The park's main draws include several elephants scaling trees, pythons, and baobab trees. You may also view lions, leopards, and other species there.
Your day will come to a close when you spend the night at Fig Tree Lodge.

You will have a full breakfast this morning, load your luggage into the safari jeep, and then begin your game drive toward the Serengeti while eating lunch inside the jeep.

The Serengeti's vast plains and the spectacular wildebeest migration, a phenomenon driven by drought in various regions of the Serengeti, are its primary draws. Your knowledgeable guide will provide you with the opportunity to witness a segment of the remarkable wildebeest migration during your journey.

Experience a captivating sunset game drive in the heart of the Serengeti, followed by a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at the Seronera campground nestled within the Serengeti itself.

Day 3

Western and Northen Serengeti Game Drive

Western and Northen Serengeti Game Drive

As you have a full day in Serengeti on this day, our driver will take you to the important Serengeti locations after you have an early breakfast and begin your game drive inside the Serengeti.

While wildebeest calving occurs between January and March, the best time to see the great migration is from June through September. From July through September, our driver will be able to take you to the Northern Serengeti, where you can see the great wildebeest migration cross the Mara River. After a full day of game viewing, you return to your campsite for dinner and the night. An estimated 1.5 million of these beautiful beasts roam throughout the year in search of new grazing area and better water supplies.

Day 4

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

You will wake at 5:45 in the morning for an early breakfast and to witness the sunrise in the Serengeti. After finishing breakfast, you will go on an early morning game drive until 11:30, at which point you will return to your campsite for a hot lunch and load your belongings into the vehicle.

This time, after eating a hot lunch, you'll continue on a wildlife drive over the Serengeti before going to the Simba campground near the Ngorongoro crater for dinner and the night.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After waking up at 5:30 am for breakfast, you'll descend to the Ngorongoro crater floor where you can see five of the big cats, as well as other birds and a black rhino that can be found inside the crater. On this day, you will eat lunch inside the crater while taking in the scenery and the abundance of flamingos.

After a 6- to 7-hour game drive inside the crater floor, you will start ascending from the crater and drive through to Fig Tree Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. After the crater tour on this day, you'll have a walking tour around the Mto Wa Mbu hamlet to learn about local culture.

Day 6

Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara

You will leave for Lake Manyara after breakfast for a full-day wildlife drive inside the park, where you will have the opportunity to observe climbing tree lions, lots of flamingos drawn to the lake's algae, and a hot spring. On the same day, you will also visit a Maasai boma to observe how they live and learn about their culture and traditions. Afterward, you may either drive directly to the Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport or return to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.
