You will receive a thorough orientation about your rental vehicle when you arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport. After pick up, you will travel north to Otjiwa Safari Lodge while passing through the capital city. You will check in when you arrive, then spend the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Day 2

Rhino Tracking and the AfriCat in Otjiwa Game Farm

Rhino Tracking and the AfriCat in Otjiwa Game Farm

You will enjoy your guided rhino tracking at Otjiwa Safari Lodge after breakfast. After the tracking, you will travel to the nearby Okonjima reserve to take a guided AfriCat Foundation tour and see the cheetahs. You will return to Otjiwa Safari Lodge, where you can spend the rest of the day at your leisure or participate in an optional sundowner game drive.

Day 3

Eastern Etosha National Park

Eastern Etosha National Park

You will depart Otjiwa Safari Lodge and travel to Etosha National Park in the north. You can stop briefly at the crocodile farm at Otjiwarongo en route.

Just outside the eastern gate of Etosha National Park, you will reach Mushara Bush Camp. You will check in, and then take the remainder of the afternoon as you choose. You can choose to go on a self-drive safari in the park if you get there early enough.

Guided Safari in Eastern Etosha National Park

Guided Safari in Eastern Etosha National Park

Today, you will have a choice of an afternoon or morning game safari. This safari is led by one of the knowledgeable lodge guides. The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Alternatively, you might embark on a self-drive safari in the park.

You will check in at Etosha Safari Camp, and move from the eastern to the southern sides of Etosha National Park. You can stop at a number of waterholes along the trip for fantastic photo ops. Even though it can take up to five hours, the drive through the park is an experience and a vacation high point.

You will check in after which you can relax for the remainder of the afternoon or go on a quick walking safari around the property.

You will travel to Swakopmund by passing the Skeleton Coast. A little coastal city with beautiful German architecture is Swakopmund. Namibia's adventure capital is there as well. Numerous options are available, including quad biking, desert trips, skydiving, and township tours.

Additionally, Swakopmund offers a variety of eateries that may accommodate any taste.

You will travel to Namibia's biggest park, the Namib Naukluft Park, today. Sossusvlei, with its enormous red sand dunes, can be seen in the park. Take advantage of your two nights at Le Mirage Resort & Spa.

Don't forget to have some of the renowned 'apple pie' at Solitaire while you're there. A guided tour of Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, "Big Daddy," and Dune 45 is included in your 2-night stay at Le Mirage.

Le Mirage also provides an optional hot-air balloon ride.
