Early morning Pickup from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park.

Enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire with a picnic lunch in the park. Covering 2,600 km², Tarangire is famous for its open plains dotted with ancient baobabs and is home to large herds of elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, Maasai giraffe, and fringe-eared oryx (gemsbok). Predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs roam the park, while bird enthusiasts can spot species like the ashy starling, rufous-tailed weaver, and black-collared lovebird. Today: Wake up early for a magical morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park. In the afternoon, depart for Ngorongoro and overnight at your lodge in Karatu, conveniently located near the crater. This allows you to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater early the next morning, when wildlife is most active.

The Serengeti is world-famous for the Great Migration of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, leopards, and cheetahs as they hunt across the plains, playing out the drama of the circle of life.
