Zanzibar – Flight to Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your driver will collect you from your Zanzibar hotel between 5:00 and 6:00 a.m., depending on your location, for your flight to Arusha, scheduled to arrive around 9:20 a.m. Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will be waiting to welcome you.

From Arusha, enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. A game drive in a 4x4 open-roof vehicle offers excellent wildlife viewing and photography across the park’s varied landscapes—savannahs, wetlands, and the Tarangire River.

Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, lions, leopards, warthogs, and over 500 bird species. After a rewarding afternoon in the wild, head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.

Prepare for an early start as your guide picks you up at 5:00 a.m. for your journey into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll bring along a packed breakfast and lunch to enjoy during your time inside the crater.

Often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," the Ngorongoro Crater is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, and—if you’re lucky—the rare and critically endangered black rhino. Spanning approximately 20 kilometers in diameter, this natural wonder offers a truly immersive safari experience, with a game drive lasting around 5 hours, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and rich biodiversity.

After this unforgettable experience, you’ll begin the journey back to Arusha Airport in time for your return flight to Zanzibar, marking the end of your incredible safari adventure.
