Upon arrival at Windhoek International Airport, you will have a detailed safety briefing about your vehicle rental. You will make your way to Na'ankuse Wildlife Sanctuary, situated only 30 minutes from the airport. The lodge is a not-for-profit eco-tourism establishment, where all profits are plowed back into supporting our charitable projects under the Naankuse Foundation.

You can enjoy the rest of the afternoon around the pool, or choose some of the activities that are on offer.

Day 2-3

Sossusvlei

Sossusvlei

Today you will leave the capital area for the Namib Desert. You will travel through beautiful escarpments before arriving at your lodge. The lodge is accommodated in a large castle sheltering guests against the harsh desert climate. The spacious restaurant serves a fusion cuisine of European and Namibian dishes. A highlight at the resort is the Mystique Spa, a wellness center that specializes in massages, pedicures, manicures, aroma massages, and de-stress treatments. In the large courtyard, you can retreat to the swimming pool sheltered from the desert in an oasis of palm trees.
Included in your 2-night stay is a guided Sossusvlei excursion that will take you to some of the highest dunes in the world, including "Big Daddy" and Dune 45.

You will make your way through the Namib Naukluft Park to the adventure city of Namibia. Swakopmund offers a wide variety of activities, such as quad biking, sand boarding and even skydiving.

You can also explore the charming town on foot, by visiting some of the famous restaurants, shops and beaches.

Make your way to the most dramatic scenic area of Namibia. Twyfelfontein is famous for its 40,000-plus rock engravings that can be visited on guided tours. Included in your 2-night stay is also a guided nature drive to track the desert-adapted elephants.

You will enjoy the afternoons around the great pool or go on beautiful nature walks.

Safaris in Etosha National Park

Safaris in Etosha National Park

The most well-known national park's southern side should be your destination. Easy access to the park is provided by the location of your lodge, which is a few kilometers from the park's entrance. You have two game safaris included by a professional guide from the lodge. Alternatively, you can explore the park with your own vehicle and at your own time and pace.

Onguma Private Nature Reserve

You will take the family on an adventure in the national park after breakfast. Driving through the park to the eastern side will take you a half-day. Make sure to stop at the wildlife-filled waterholes.

Upon arrival at Onguma Private Reserve, you can relax around the pool, or book an optional sundowner game safari.

Cheetah Sanctuary and Rhino Tracking

Make your way southward towards Otjiwarongo after breakfast. You will visit the Cheetah Conservation Fund to see these magnificent animals. You can opt to make a quick stop in Otjiwarongo and visit the famous crocodile farm.

You will check-in at Otjiwa Safari Lodge and enjoy the included rhino tracking.
